Supple Strength for Your Pelvic Floor
Pregnancy, birth and menopause are uniquely feminine life events that create profound changes in our bodies and our lives.
The pelvic floor is particularly affected by these transitions, which can cause the pelvic floor muscles become too lax (hypotonic) or too tight (hypertonic). Both of these issues can lead to further complications including lower back and hip pain, incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain.
Thankfully, pelvic floor problems don’t have to be a life sentence. They can be treated and in many cases cured with simple daily practices that help restore the pelvic floor muscles back to health.
In this workshop you will explore your pelvic floor anatomy with awareness and breathing exercises, and then learn how to practice easy yoga poses to release and tone the pelvic floor muscles.
All levels welcome.
